David E. Berman, M.D. is board certified in Plastic Surgery in both Canada and the United States. He has obtained the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. He has worked independently as a plastic surgeon since 1990. He completed 9 years of surgical training after graduating from medical school in 1981.

Dr. Berman completed his general surgery residency at Memorial University in Canada in 1987 and is board certified in general surgery. His plastic surgery residency was completed at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA in 1990. He completed fellowships in microvascular hand surgery and burn surgery at the University of Virginia. Dr. Berman received additional training at the Shock Trauma Unit in Baltimore, MD, microsurgery in San Francisco and peripheral nerve surgery in Toronto. He previously attended Stanford University and studied chemical engineering.

Dr. Berman currently has privileges at Loudoun, Columbia Reston, and Prince William Hospitals and Countryside Ambulatory Surgery Center.

Both the Sterling and Manassas offices participate in most HMO/PPO Insurance Plans and Medicare.
